Q: What songs are on your ipod at the moment?
A: seriously? there are thousands! I am listening to a lot of old Humble Pie and Alman Bros this week. Also some Amos Lee and Johnny Reed.
Q: What is your creative process for creating a track?
A: noodle til i hum along… let a lyric brew -- play it 400 times until it is either a song I love or until I’ve annoyed myself enough to never revisit it again.
Q: What’s more important, melody or lyrics?
A: tough one… I LOVE words so i lean toward answering that way… but the combination of the right words with the perfect melody is really what is “important”
Q: Where are you based?
A: Canada and USA for the last two decades with Australian moments. Now I live in the sub-tropics in Qld, Australia
Q: What’s it like being where you’re from?
A: I now live in Heaven -- seriously -- I list that as my address. I live with a beautiful lover in a beautiful home on a beautiful piece of property in sub-tropical climate. HEAVEN!

A: Placements of at least three songs in more than 50 regional markets in USA, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Complete Americana Gold, and write 30 more songs i love to play live!

Editor note: Its weird. After completing the interview with Carolyna and listening to her songs, I really feel that I know her. That’s surely thats a sign of someone who’s both open and can relate to people musically. Carolyna has carved a successful musical career for herself over the last 20 years and it seems that her success will continue into 2011.
